M&A Associate, Corporate — San Francisco

Growing corporate practice in San Francisco is seeking an associate with 1–3 years of corporate/M&A experience to support domestic and cross-border M&A and transactional matters. You will work on deal execution for public and private company transactions and may have exposure to capital markets, SEC reporting, growth equity and venture-related matters.

The role offers hands‑on drafting, due diligence, transactional project management and direct engagement on client calls and negotiations. The team emphasizes collaboration, professional development and a hybrid working pattern with regular in‑office presence.

• JD from an accredited law school and admission to practice in California
• 1–3 years of transactional corporate/M&A experience at a law firm; experience on both private and public company deals preferred
• Familiarity with securities matters, SEC reporting, growth equity or corporate venture capital a plus
• Strong legal research, drafting, attention to detail, and client‑communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters, work collaboratively, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
