We are seeking a Manager, Legal – Funds to join a dedicated team providing legal services to investment fund clients in Belfast. This role suits an engaged lawyer with a corporate/commercial background who is keen to develop their expertise in investment funds.

The team handles a broad range of fund structures from retail to private equity and hedge funds, advising major asset management clients on distribution-related agreements, complex restructurings, cross-jurisdictional regulatory projects, investment due diligence and day-to-day operational support. You will conduct fee-earning work directly for clients while supervising teams across a global network.

You will take on project management for individual matters, act as primary contact for internal clients (partners and managing associates), manage resources effectively, and support quality control and process improvement. The role also involves line management responsibility for senior solicitors, solicitors, trainees and legal analysts.

Qualified solicitor or barrister in England and Wales or Northern Ireland (Republic of Ireland or other common law jurisdictions considered; willingness to requalify if required).
5+ years' PQE in a funds or commercial practice area; exceptional candidates with less experience may be considered.
Proven experience supervising and supporting a funds or commercial law team.
Strong general corporate/commercial legal practice with an interest in developing investment funds knowledge.
Previous investment funds experience or work for investment fund clients is highly desirable.
Experience at a large private practice law firm is desirable.
Entrepreneurial mindset, flexible and responsive approach, and deeply client-focused attitude.
