The role combines specialist property law, compulsory purchase/consenting work and project delivery across complex land assembly and statutory consent processes.
You will handle land rights, statutory powers and consenting (including CPO/TWAO/DCO-related matters), third-party interface agreements, land and works agreements, and environmental and construction-related property issues. The role includes supervising junior colleagues and managing multiple matters to tight deadlines.
The team provides a full-service real estate offering across acquisitions, planning, construction, financing and disposals, working with public sector bodies, developers, funders and other stakeholders. The firm offers hybrid working, flexible benefits and career development for senior fee-earners.
- Qualified solicitor (SRA or equivalent) admitted in England & Wales
- Strong real estate background with demonstrable experience on major infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of compulsory purchase regimes and statutory consenting processes (e.g. CPOs, DCOs/TWAOs)
- Experience supervising junior staff and managing multiple matters to tight deadlines
- Familiarity with construction, environmental (contaminated land) and land law issues
- Excellent project management, drafting and client-facing skills
