Opportunity for an experienced leveraged finance lawyer to join a busy London practice advising banks, direct lenders, debt funds, sponsors and borrowers on mid‑market UK and European financings. The role offers significant responsibility on leveraged and acquisition finance transactions including unitranche, second‑lien, super‑senior and TLB facilities.

You will work on origination, negotiation and documentation across M&A and refinancing matters, collaborate with private equity teams, and supervise junior lawyers in a collegiate team. The team provides structured training and development and encourages progression through mentoring and formal programmes.

Qualified solicitor with at least 5 years PQE in leveraged finance
Proven experience on private equity‑backed and mid‑market UK/European financings
Practical knowledge of facility agreements, term sheets, commitment papers and intercreditor arrangements
Ability to manage transactions, supervise junior lawyers and work collaboratively
Commercial mindset with evidence of business development or client‑facing experience
