A globally ranked law firm serving insurers and the London market is seeking a mid-level associate with strong marine coverage and marine litigation experience to join its New York office. The role sits within the firm's insurance division and involves handling marine insurance coverage matters and related litigation. The working pattern is hybrid, full time and permanent.

Candidates should be comfortable analyzing marine insurance policies and other relevant contracts, interacting directly with clients, and taking on substantive litigation and courtroom responsibilities.

At least two years of strong litigation experience
Familiarity with marine insurance coverage issues
Experience analyzing marine insurance policies and related contracts
Ability to draft pleadings and discovery demands, conduct depositions, perform legal research and draft dispositive motions
Proven courtroom experience, including conferences and handling appeals
Admitted and in good standing in New York; additional state admissions a plus
