A global law firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join its highly regarded Mergers & Acquisitions practice group. This role offers the opportunity to represent Fortune 500 companies, private equity firms, investment banks, and privately-held companies in high-profile and complex M&A and strategic transactions.

2–4 years of significant experience in mergers and acquisitions and other strategic transactions
Experience handling domestic and cross-border transactions on both the buy and sell-side
Solid understanding of complex structural and corporate issues related to acquisitions, divestitures, strategic alliances, spin-offs, carve-outs, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and tender offers
Ability to concisely and effectively communicate complex matters in oral and written form
Outstanding research and analytical skills
Excellent business and legal problem-solving skills with a commitment to delivering excellent client service in a team environment
Strong work ethic, excellent leadership skills, and an action-oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility
Admitted to the state bar in which practicing or eligible to waive in
