A leading global law firm seeks an experienced M&A lawyer to join its corporate practice as a resource attorney supporting the firm's transactional lawyers. This non-client-facing, non-billing role focuses on enabling practitioners to work more efficiently and stay at the leading edge of M&A law.

The position involves managing the firm's transaction database, drafting and curating forms, precedents and know-how, monitoring legal and regulatory developments, coordinating associate and firmwide training, and working with marketing on business development content. The attorney will also field day-to-day requests for templates and resources and contribute to knowledge-management and practice-innovation projects.

This is the second resource attorney supporting the M&A group and requires close collaboration with the senior resource attorney, knowledge-management, legal education, and marketing teams.

Licensed attorney with at least 4 years of experience in a US M&A corporate/transactional practice
Working knowledge of public and private M&A, corporate governance, board fiduciary duties and market trends
Strong drafting and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects and coordinate with varied stakeholders
Flexible, collaborative team player comfortable supporting evolving resource initiatives
