A leading global law firm seeks an experienced M&A resource attorney to support its corporate practice in New York. This is a non-client-facing, non-billable role focused on enabling practitioners to work more efficiently and effectively through knowledge management, precedent development, and legal education.

The position involves managing and maintaining a transaction database, drafting and curating M&A templates and precedents, monitoring legal and regulatory developments, coordinating associate training content, and supporting marketing and business development initiatives. The attorney will also field day-to-day requests from lawyers for precedents and resources, and contribute to ongoing knowledge management and practice innovation projects.

The ideal candidate has a strong grounding in public and private M&A, corporate governance, board fiduciary duties, and market trends, with excellent drafting and organizational skills and a collaborative approach.

Licensed attorney with at least 7 years of experience in a US M&A corporate/transactional practice
Solid understanding of public and private M&A, corporate governance, and board fiduciary duties
Strong drafting and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail
Ability to handle multiple ongoing projects and coordinate with various stakeholders
Flexibility and willingness to support evolving resource initiatives
Collaborative team player able to work closely with a senior resource attorney
