Mid-level associate opportunity in a nationally recognized M&A and corporate finance practice based in Atlanta. The role sits on sophisticated buy- and sell-side M&A matters with an emphasis on private equity and private-target transactions.

You will manage deal timelines, coordinate with internal and external advisors, draft and negotiate equity and asset purchase agreements and ancillary documents, and lead legal due diligence and transaction closings. The team values collaborative, client-focused lawyers who take ownership of matters and can distill complex issues into clear, actionable advice.

4–6 years' transactional/M&A experience (PQE)
Demonstrated experience on complex corporate and M&A matters, ideally including private equity transactions
Strong drafting skills for equity and asset purchase agreements and related transaction documents
Experience conducting and summarizing legal due diligence
Excellent written and oral communication, strong analytical skills, and client-facing ability
Ability to manage multiple priorities, lead deal teams and mentor junior colleagues
