Mid-Level to Senior M&A Associate, Atlanta

A top-tier law firm is seeking a highly motivated mid-level to senior associate with four to six years of experience to join its nationally recognized M&A and corporate finance practice in Atlanta.

The ideal candidate will have sophisticated law firm experience on complex corporate and M&A matters, including managing complex M&A projects and timelines, interacting with subject matter experts and junior resources, preparing equity and asset purchase agreements and ancillary documentation, and conducting and summarizing legal due diligence in M&A transactions, with an emphasis on private equity transactions and private target M&A. The role requires significant attention to detail, the ability to interact successfully with clients, investment bankers, and other advisors, excellent written and oral communication skills, analytical skills, and the ability to distill complex information into actionable advice and manage client engagements. The candidate should also possess excellent interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, the ability to manage multiple priorities, an ownership mentality, and the ability to assume a high degree of responsibility.

• 4–6 years of sophisticated law firm experience in complex corporate and M&A matters
