Mid-Level Associate, Global Funds Practice

A leading global law firm is seeking mid-level associates with retail or registered funds experience to join its Global Funds practice. The role is open across multiple U.S. offices, including New York, Washington, D.C., and San Francisco.

The successful candidate will focus on the formation and ongoing operation of permanent capital retail investment vehicles—such as business development companies (BDCs), registered closed-end funds, and similar structures—and will advise fund boards on governance and compliance matters under the Investment Company Act of 1940.

• 2–5 years of experience in fund formation, with a focus on retail or registered funds
• Experience with permanent capital vehicles, including BDCs, registered closed-end funds, or similar structures
• Familiarity with governance and compliance matters under the Investment Company Act of 1940
• Admission to the New York, D.C., or California Bar
• Excellent academic and professional credentials
