The role offers significant responsibility on insolvency and restructuring matters, exposure to court-appointed mandates and transactional work in an insolvency context. - 3–6 years post-call Canadian or international law firm experience in insolvency, restructuring or related commercial litigation
- Practical exposure to the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act or equivalent international regimes
- Experience acting for lenders, debtors, creditors, purchasers or court-appointed officers; transactional experience in insolvency matters an asset
- Strong academic credentials, excellent written and oral communication, and proven ability to manage competing client/file demands
- Admission to the Alberta bar or eligibility for admission
