A leading global finance practice is seeking a mid-level to senior associate to join its US leveraged finance team, a fully integrated cross-office national group. The team represents lenders, private equity sponsors, and public and private company borrowers in a wide range of domestic and international lending transactions.

Associates work on a highly varied portfolio of deals across both borrower and lender sides, including acquisition finance, credit facilities for public and private companies, syndicated term loan transactions, private credit, note purchase agreement private placements, and sovereign debt financings.

While there is a preference for candidates in the New York or Washington, DC offices, candidates with at least three years of directly relevant experience will also be considered for several other US office locations.

At least 3 years of directly relevant transactional experience in bank financing transactions and related UCC matters
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build long-term relationships with sophisticated client teams
Commitment to excellence and a collegial, team-oriented approach
Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school and active membership in a US state bar
