We are seeking a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join a market-leading contentious tax team in London. The role offers early, hands-on responsibility on complex tax disputes and investigations for multinational corporates, financial institutions, high-net-worth individuals and professional advisers.

You will work across the full lifecycle of tax disputes, including HMRC enquiries, settlement negotiations, tribunal and higher-court litigation, judicial review and tax professional negligence matters. The team provides strong technical training and support for formal tax qualifications (eg ATT) as part of career development.

The role is collaborative and client-facing, with opportunities to draft statements of case and witness evidence, conduct technical research, prepare hearing bundles, liaise with counsel and experts, and contribute to business development initiatives.

Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (NQ level)
Training seat or equivalent experience in tax disputes or dispute resolution with tax exposure
Strong academic record and demonstrable interest in contentious tax
Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills; strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
