Partner, Corporate & Energy — Washington, D.C.

Seeking a lateral partner to join a national law firm’s corporate practice in Washington, D.C., with a strong focus on M&A, transactional work and energy-sector matters. The role combines corporate and finance experience with project-development and commercial work across renewables and oil & gas.

The successful candidate will help lead deal teams, advise strategic corporate and institutional clients, and expand the practice’s technology and capital markets capabilities. This is a client-facing role with significant business-development responsibility and opportunity to shape a multi-disciplinary platform.

• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
• Established partner-level experience in M&A and transactional corporate work
• Substantial experience advising on energy projects (renewable energy and/or oil & gas) and related commercial agreements
• Track record of originating and developing client relationships and cross-selling into finance/capital-markets matters
