Partner, Corporate (M&A) — Chicago

Leading national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Chicago corporate team with a focus on mergers & acquisitions and transactional work. The role will involve leading mid-market and complex corporate transactions, advising boards and senior management on governance matters, and managing deal execution from negotiation through closing.

The successful candidate will join an experienced, multidisciplinary team and will be expected to originate business, mentor associates, and collaborate across practice groups and offices on cross-border and domestic matters.

• Proven track record in M&A and corporate transactional work
• Experience leading deal teams and advising on corporate governance
• Established client relationships and demonstrable origination capabilities
• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
