Partner — Corporate / M&A & Technology Transactions, Chicago

Leading international law firm seeks a partner to help expand a busy corporate practice in Chicago with a focus on M&A, capital markets and technology transactions. The role will work closely with cross-practice teams including IP and litigation to advise corporate and emerging-growth clients.

The successful candidate will take a senior client-facing role: originating and managing complex transactions, developing new business, and mentoring associates. The office is experiencing growth and the hire will collaborate with other domestic and international offices.

• Portable book of business of $4M+ (USD)
• Significant partner-level experience advising on M&A and capital markets transactions
• Proven client development track record, especially with technology, life sciences, financial services or energy sector clients
• Comfort managing deal teams and working with IP, litigation and technology groups
• Active bar admission in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction or ability to qualify
