Partner, Corporate & Technology Transactions — Chicago

Major corporate practice is seeking a lateral partner to lead and grow a Chicago-based corporate and technology transactions offering. The role emphasizes M&A (including private equity), capital markets (issuer-side experience desirable), emerging-growth and technology-sector work, and related IP transactional support.

The partner will join a large, cross-office team that handles complex transactions across sectors such as life sciences, technology, financial services and energy. The position requires proven business development, team leadership, and the ability to work with deal teams across offices.

• Portable book of business of $4M+ (USD)
• Significant partner-level experience in M&A, PE-related transactions or capital markets (issuer-side preferred)
• Track record of originating and leading cross-border or multi-office transactions
• Experience advising technology and life sciences clients and handling technology transactions and IP-related commercial work
