Partner, Energy & Environmental — Chicago

Seek a partner to lead and grow an established practice group handling energy, environmental, tax, maritime and construction matters. The role combines transactional, regulatory and advisory work across traditional and renewable energy projects.

Responsibilities include originating and managing client engagements, supervising junior lawyers, coordinating across practice teams, and helping shape business-development strategy in the Chicago market and nationally.

• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
• Proven partner-level experience in energy and environmental matters, including renewable energy and regulatory work
• Experience advising on tax, maritime or construction aspects of energy and infrastructure projects
• Track record of originating work and building client relationships; strong leadership and team-management skills
• Admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction and eligibility to practice in Chicago
