Partner, Finance & Banking (Chicago)

Senior partner hire to lead and grow a finance practice from the Chicago office, with a primary focus on leveraged and structured finance transactions. The role combines deal work, relationship management and origination.

The successful candidate will advise borrowers, sponsors and lenders on complex financings, mentor and develop junior lawyers, and play a central role in business development across the region and nationally.

• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
• Proven partner-level experience in leveraged finance and structured finance transactions
• Demonstrable track record of originating and closing complex financings and of supervising deal teams
• Strong business development, client relationship and team leadership skills
• Bar admission in an appropriate U.S. jurisdiction and ability to practice in Illinois (or willingness to obtain admission)
