Partner, Finance & Banking — Chicago

Leading national law firm seeks a partner to join its Finance & Banking group in the Chicago office. The role involves originating and managing lending and finance matters across commercial banking and corporate finance transactions.

The successful candidate will lead client relationships, mentor junior lawyers, and work on a mix of syndicated and bilateral lending, asset-based lending and related finance work. This is a growth-focused role with significant business-development expectations.

• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
• Established finance and banking practice with demonstrable client relationships and origination capability
• Admission to practice in Illinois (or ability to transfer) and strong transactional drafting and negotiation skills
• Proven experience managing and mentoring associates and developing business
