Partner, Finance & Banking — New York

Leading finance practice in a large international law firm is seeking a lateral partner to strengthen its banking and finance capability in New York. The role focuses on originating and leading commercial lending, syndicated financing and other corporate finance matters for institutional and corporate borrowers and lenders.

The partner will manage client relationships, drive business development, and lead deal teams on complex domestic and cross-border financings. The team offers access to a broad corporate platform and collaboration across offices.

• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
• Established partner-level experience in banking and finance transactions (syndicated loans, acquisition finance, asset-backed lending and related work)
• Proven track record of client origination and business development
• Experience leading deal teams and mentoring senior associates
• Admission to the New York bar (or eligible) and ability to work on US-governed matters
