A leading international law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Chicago office, working across a combined finance, intellectual property, and antitrust platform. The role offers a collaborative, cross-disciplinary environment in which the incoming partner can build on existing strengths in both transactional and contentious work.

The firm's broader practice spans private equity, patent litigation, life sciences and technology, antitrust and competition, and energy. This creates natural synergies for a partner whose practice bridges finance and banking work with competition and IP matters, including antitrust issues arising in private equity transactions and patent disputes in the life sciences and technology sectors.

The position is open to partner-level candidates with an established practice and the ability to contribute to the continued growth of these practices in the Chicago market.

• Admission to practice in Illinois (or eligibility to waive in)
• Demonstrated partner-level experience across finance and banking, intellectual property, or antitrust and competition matters
• Established network of client relationships and a portable practice
• Ability to collaborate across transactional and contentious practice groups
• Portable book of business of $3M+ (USD)
