Partner, Tax & Energy — Seattle

Senior tax partner role focused on energy matters within a full-service international firm. The position will lead and grow energy tax work, advise on transactional and regulatory tax issues, and supervise a small team of tax lawyers and staff.

The team advises sponsors, investors and corporate clients on federal and state tax planning, tax structuring for acquisitions and dispositions, and tax implications of energy projects. The role combines client-facing work with responsibility for business development and practice management in the Seattle market.

• Proven partner-level experience in energy tax matters
• Track record of originating and leading client engagements and business development
• Experience managing and mentoring junior lawyers and coordinating with transactional teams
• Admitted to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction(s)
• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
