Partner, Tax — San Francisco

Leading national law firm seeking a Tax partner to join its San Francisco office. The role will advise corporations, closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals on federal and state tax planning, corporate reorganizations, and transactional tax issues.

Candidate will work collaboratively across practices, manage client relationships, and help grow the San Francisco tax practice through business development and team leadership. This is a hands-on role with client-facing responsibilities and mentoring of junior lawyers.

• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
• Established partner-level tax practice with substantial client origination experience
• Deep technical knowledge of federal and state tax law; experience with transactional tax planning and controversy preferred
• Licensed to practice in California and able to work in the San Francisco office
• Proven track record of leading teams and developing business
