Patent Litigation Associate — Houston

An established US law firm is seeking a junior to mid-level Patent Litigation Associate to join its Houston IP litigation team. The role focuses on patent infringement defense and prosecution support in complex federal district court and related proceedings.

The team handles technology-intensive disputes across sectors such as telecommunications, software/hardware, financial services and manufacturing. Associates will work on all phases of litigation, including discovery, claim construction, motion practice, and coordination with technical experts.

• Junior to mid-level patent litigation experience (law firm or clerkship experience preferred)
• Comfort with technology-heavy matters; technical or scientific background is a plus
• Strong written and oral advocacy, document review, and motion-drafting skills
• Admission to practice in Texas or eligibility to obtain admission
