Apply in confidence →We are seeking a Practice Innovation Attorney to help legal teams integrate artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies into day-to-day practice. The role combines solution design, hands-on implementation, and user enablement to improve efficiency, consistency, and client outcomes.
Responsibilities include developing custom AI workflows and playbooks, piloting and operationalizing new tools, delivering training and support through an "AI as a Service" model, and curating best practices and resources for firm-wide use. The position will partner with practice groups and cross-functional teams and may support global initiatives on an as-needed basis.
This is a hybrid role based in Los Angeles with regular collaboration across teams and occasional flexibility for nonstandard hours to support broader projects.
- JD required.
- Approximately 2 years post-qualification experience as a practicing attorney, legal researcher, or legal technologist in a legal environment.
- Practical experience with AI/GenAI, large language models, automation tools, and other advanced legal technologies.
- Experience developing or implementing technology solutions and workflows for legal teams.
- Strong communication, training/facilitation, and user-support skills; collaborative and service-oriented approach.
- Preferred: advanced degree in informatics, library science, computer science, data/information systems, engineering, or related field.
