Senior real estate role within a national Housing Development & Regeneration (HDR) team, based in the firm's Leeds office. You will provide specialist residential development advice across title due diligence, land acquisition and housing-led regeneration projects, working with a broad range of developers, house builders, affordable housing providers and landowners.

The post offers responsibility for leading complex transactions, supervising and developing junior colleagues, and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams. The role is suited to an ambitious lawyer who wants to help grow a regional practice and take on a leadership path within the north of England.

  • Qualified solicitor with c.6 years' post-qualification experience in residential development/land use law
  • Strong technical knowledge of title due diligence, land acquisition and housing development documentation
  • Proven ability to manage a complex caseload to tight deadlines and to prioritise under pressure
  • Experience supervising and mentoring junior fee-earners and working in multi-disciplinary project teams
  • Commercial mindset with effective negotiation and client-facing skills; contribution to business development
