An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor to join a well-regarded team in Cheltenham. The team offers a supportive and friendly working environment, with hybrid and flexible working options available.

You will handle a varied caseload of high-value and often complex succession and tax planning matters for UK and international clients, including entrepreneurs, business owners, and high-net-worth individuals. You will also have the chance to develop a more specialised expertise within the team's core client base, working alongside Partners and other team members.

Qualified Solicitor or CILEX qualified
STEP qualification advantageous but not essential
Excellent knowledge of the law and practice relating to the administration of estates
Thorough understanding of inheritance tax and trusts
Experience in a similar role, or looking to move up to a more senior role
Excellent team working skills, including mentoring and guiding less experienced colleagues
Good judgement and a sound legal and commercial understanding of clients' needs
A hands-on approach to managing own files and caseload
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a significant number of files simultaneously
Flexible approach and willingness to go the extra mile
