Private Companies Attorney — Corporate

National private companies team seeks 3rd–6th year associates to advise high-growth, venture-backed and emerging companies and their investors. The role focuses on lifecycle corporate work including venture capital financings, growth-stage transactions and liquidity events.

Successful candidates will join a growing national practice, have opportunities to develop and run a practice, participate in external speaking and thought leadership, and contribute to the firm’s private companies platform. The team works across the United States on transactional matters for disruptive companies and the investors who fund them.

• 3–6 years post-qualification experience with substantial private companies / venture-backed company exposure
• Demonstrated experience on venture capital financings, growth-stage transactions and liquidity events
• Prior experience in the corporate department of a national or international law firm
• Strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school
