Private Equity Associate — Corporate, Los Angeles

Mid-level associate opportunity for an attorney with private equity and M&A experience. The role focuses on transactional work for private equity sponsors and portfolio companies, including purchase and merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements, and related ancillary documentation.

Successful candidates will work closely with deal teams and client business partners in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment and are expected to take a lead drafting and negotiating role on transactions.

• 3-6 years post-qualification transactional experience, with a strong focus on private equity and M&A
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating purchase/merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements, and ancillary transaction documents
• Prior large-firm experience and excellent academic credentials
• Strong drafting, writing, analytical, organizational and project-management skills; good business and strategic judgment
