Private Equity Associate (3rd–6th Year) – New York

A leading law firm is seeking a 3rd–6th year attorney to join its private equity and M&A practice in New York. The role involves advising private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies on the full range of transaction matters.

The successful candidate will draft and negotiate purchase and merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements, and other ancillary transaction documents. They will work closely with client business teams, taking a lead role as an extension of the client’s deal team in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

• 3–6 years of experience in private equity and M&A at a large law firm.
• Strong drafting, writing, and analytical skills.
