Private Equity Attorney (3rd-6th Year) – New York

We are seeking a mid-level attorney with private equity and M&A experience to join a dynamic corporate practice in New York. The role involves working closely with private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies on a wide range of transactional matters.

The ideal candidate will take a lead role as an extension of client business teams, demonstrating strong business and strategic judgment in a team-oriented environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven associate to assume significant responsibility and work on sophisticated deals.

• 3–6 years of private equity and M&A experience at a large law firm
• Experience drafting and negotiating purchase and merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements, and other ancillary transaction documents
• Excellent drafting, writing, and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
• Superior organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and project management abilities
• Excellent academic credentials
