Top-tier US firm is seeking a 3rd–6th year associate with solid private equity and M&A experience to join its transactional team. The role involves leading and supporting private equity deals and portfolio company matters across the firm's U.S. offices in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Day-to-day work includes drafting and negotiating purchase and merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements and ancillary transaction documents, and serving as an extension of client business teams. The team values strong commercial judgment, excellent drafting and writing, and the ability to manage multiple matters and stakeholders.

3–6 years' PQE in private equity and M&A transactions
Proven experience drafting and negotiating purchase/merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements and other transactional documents
Excellent drafting, writing, analytical and project-management skills; strong attention to detail
Prior large-firm experience and strong academic credentials
