Private Equity Attorney — Corporate

Leading national law firm is seeking a 3rd–6th year private equity attorney to join its corporate team. The role focuses on representing private equity sponsors and portfolio companies on buyouts, M&A and related transactional work in a collaborative, deal-oriented practice.

Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and negotiating purchase and merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements and ancillary transaction documents, managing deal teams and supporting client business objectives. The team values strong commercial judgment, clear writing and an ability to take a lead role on matters.

• 3–6 years of post-qualification experience in private equity and M&A transactional work
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating purchase/merger agreements, LLC/LP agreements and ancillary documents
• Strong academic credentials and prior experience at a large law firm
• Excellent drafting, analytical, project management and interpersonal skills
