Private Equity M&A Associate (Junior) — San Francisco

A leading international law firm is seeking a junior associate to join its Private Equity group in San Francisco. The role focuses on private M&A and growth equity transactions, offering exposure to sophisticated, cross-practice deal work.

The ideal candidate will have some experience or a demonstrated interest in private M&A and growth equity, with a foundational understanding of the diligence process, ancillary workstreams, and organizing a signing/closing process.

• Class of 2025 law school graduate
• Experience or demonstrated interest in private M&A and growth equity transactions
• Basic understanding of diligence, ancillary workstreams, and signing/closing process
• Outstanding academic credentials and comparable law firm experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good judgment and proactive communication; ability to manage internal and external client and counsel relationships
• Relevant bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly)
• Deal sheet required
