Restructuring Counsel, Bankruptcy

Leading national law firm is seeking a Restructuring Counsel to join its Bankruptcy/Restructuring practice. The role is open in multiple U.S. offices, with flexibility across Chicago, New York, Los Angeles or Dallas.

The successful candidate will work on complex insolvency and distressed-debt matters, handling in-court and out-of-court restructurings, creditor-side representations and related liability-management transactions. This is a hands-on position for a motivated lawyer with strong client-facing and drafting skills.

• Minimum 10 years of law firm experience in bankruptcy/restructuring matters.
• Substantial experience representing secured lenders and other creditors (DIP financing, cash collateral, plans of reorganization, asset dispositions).
• Experience with out-of-court workouts, foreclosures, distressed-debt and liability-management transactions.
• Excellent academic credentials with strong writing, analytical and communication skills.
