A Chambers-ranked real estate practice is seeking an associate with 3+ years of commercial real estate experience to join its national team. The practice represents sophisticated clients in large-scale acquisition, disposition, joint venture, development, financing and leasing transactions across a wide range of asset classes, including multifamily, industrial, office, retail, sustainable energy, data center and digital infrastructure, and other commercial projects nationwide.

The successful candidate will support acquisition, disposition, financing and leasing matters and will be expected to deliver efficient legal service both independently and as part of a collaborative team, integrate quickly into a national real estate practice, and provide the highest quality of client service across a broad range of complex transactions.

This is an on-track associate position with a strong emphasis on professional development and teamwork. The firm requires working from the office approximately 60% of the time in accordance with published guidelines.

3+ years of commercial real estate experience
JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school
Admitted or eligible for admission in California or Massachusetts
Experience representing sophisticated owners, investors, operators and developers of commercial real estate as borrower or lender, buyer or seller, and landlord or tenant
Familiarity with the lifecycle of a transaction and ability to review and comment on loan documents, purchase agreements and leases
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professionalism in working and engaging with clients and investors
Ability to prioritize, stay organized and exercise attention to detail
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings
