Real Estate Associate

Seeking a 2nd–4th year associate (recent law school classes) to join our national Real Estate Practice Group, based in one of several major US markets.

• Handle commercial real estate and financing transactions involving mixed-use, office, multi-family, retail, hotel, and resort properties.
• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, licenses, leases, loan agreements, easements, CC&Rs, development agreements, and property management agreements.
• Work directly with partners and clients on a broad range of matters; experience in real estate development and joint ventures is a plus.

The ideal candidate is well-rounded, highly motivated, and has strong academic credentials, excellent writing and communication skills, and a positive, collaborative attitude. Must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and be an active member of the Bar in the jurisdiction of hire (timely admission required).

• 2–4 years of experience in commercial real estate and financing transactions (2022–2024 law school graduates).
• Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating real estate and financing documents.
• JD from an ABA-approved law school; active Bar membership in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills; a strong work ethic.
• Interest in real estate development and joint venture work is preferred but not required.
