Established underwriting team seeking a transactional attorney to join a busy representations & warranties insurance (RWI) practice based in New York. The role focuses on underwriting work: reviewing private M&A documentation and due diligence, identifying deal risks, and helping structure and issue RWI coverage.

Candidates will coordinate with subject-matter specialists, communicate regularly with underwriters and brokers, and support a high-volume deal pipeline under tight deadlines. Strong written and oral communication, organization, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are required.

Minimum 4 years' experience in corporate/M&A or other transactional practice
Familiarity with M&A deal processes and transactional risk areas (warranty breaches, price adjustments, damages)
Experience analyzing transaction documents and due diligence reports
Excellent written and oral communication, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work under deal time pressures
Prior experience with RWI procurement/negotiation is a strong plus
