Growing securities litigation team seeks a mid-level associate to support a broad docket of U.S. and cross-border securities matters from the office in Palo Alto. The role emphasizes defense-side work on securities class actions, shareholder derivative matters, and related corporate governance disputes.

Ideal candidates will draft dispositive and other substantive pleadings, manage discovery and motion practice in federal court, and collaborate closely with partners and senior counsel. The position involves supervising junior associates and professional staff and contributing to high-quality, client-facing work on complex matters.

4-6 years litigation experience at a comparable law firm
Significant experience with securities class actions, shareholder derivative actions, and shareholder demand matters
Strong drafting experience, particularly motions to dismiss in securities litigation
Federal court litigation experience required; federal clerkship a plus
Experience supervising junior associates and managing project-based workstreams
Admission to the California bar and high academic achievement from law school
