Senior Associate, Banking & Finance — Warsaw

Senior associate role in a global firm's Warsaw Banking & Finance team, with a focus on project and structured finance. You will work on complex financing transactions for lenders, borrowers, sponsors and investors across sectors including renewable energy, real estate and acquisition finance.

Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and negotiating finance documentation, leading transaction closings, managing junior team members and advising on out-of-court financial restructuring matters. The role offers exposure to significant cross-border and domestic financings and a clear pathway for professional development.

Onsite presence is expected at the Warsaw office. The team provides internal training, a collaborative environment and access to high-profile financing mandates in Poland and the wider CEE region.

• Master’s degree in Polish law.
• Advocate or Attorney-at-Law status for at least 3 years.
• 5–7 years’ relevant experience in banking & finance transactional work; experience with out-of-court financial restructuring is a plus.
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating facility agreements, direct/escrow agreements, legal opinions and closing documentation.
• Strong written and oral Polish and English; excellent analytical, drafting and organisational skills.
• Ability to lead transactions, manage junior lawyers and take ownership of matters; team-oriented with a proactive attitude. Interest in business development is a plus.
