Senior Associate, Corporate M&A — London

Senior Associate role in a busy London corporate team handling public and private M&A, joint ventures, shareholder arrangements and general corporate advisory. The position involves work across the deal lifecycle, including NDAs, term sheets, due diligence, disclosure exercises and drafting/negotiating key transaction documents.

The team regularly advises on cross-border transactions and coordinates with international colleagues to support clients with UK-facing issues. The role requires a commercially minded lawyer able to manage client relationships, contribute to business development and deliver high standards of client service under pressure.

• Significant experience in corporate M&A (public and private) including familiarity with the UK Takeover Code
• Proven cross-border transactional experience and exposure across the deal life-cycle (agreements, due diligence, disclosure, documentation)
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills; ability to run due diligence and disclosure exercises
• Admitted to practise as a solicitor or barrister in England & Wales, or qualified overseas with London-market experience
• Excellent oral and written communication, client-facing ability and commercial judgement
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams to tight deadlines, work autonomously and as part of a team; strong IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
