An established, nationally recognised catastrophic injury team is hiring a Senior Associate to be based in either London or Manchester. The role is client-facing and involves leading and managing complex, high-value defendant litigation across motor, employers' liability and public liability matters.

The team handles life-changing injury cases, including sensitive and high-profile matters, and works closely with insurers and corporate clients. This is a hybrid, full‑time position with scope to take ownership of substantial files, shape case strategy, and mentor more junior fee-earners.

The team uses data-driven tools and process innovations to improve efficiency and case outcomes; successful applicants will join a supportive, technically strong practice with cross-border exposure where required.

5-10 years post-qualification experience in catastrophic injury/serious injury defence work
Proven defendant claims handling experience across motor, employers' liability and/or public liability
In-depth knowledge of Ogden tables and quantifying future losses
Strong drafting and advocacy skills, and experience mentoring junior lawyers within a team setting
