Experienced finance lawyer sought to join a busy aviation finance group in New York. The role focuses on aircraft financing, leasing, trading, restructurings and enforcement work for banks, lessors, airlines and other aviation-market participants.

The team handles a full range of aviation transactions, including secured and unsecured lending, capital markets financings, lease and purchase documentation, and joint-venture or platform matters. The successful candidate will work on sizable financings, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and manage multiple matters to closing.

Significant aviation finance experience, including secured, unsecured and guaranteed financings and familiarity with Article 9 and the Cape Town Convention.
Experience managing and closing large financings (six-figure-plus transactions) and drafting/negotiating credit agreements, leases, indentures, purchase agreements and related documents.
Strong drafting, negotiation and project-management skills; ability to advise clients clearly in writing and orally.
Experience with export credit agency-supported financings or capital markets transactions is desirable but not required.
Admission to and good standing with the New York bar.
