Senior Associate opportunity in a national Environment, Planning & Communities team based in Perth. The role combines regulatory, approvals and land‑access work with project development and transactional support across energy, resources, infrastructure and related sectors.

You will advise on environmental impact and approvals, contaminated land, pollution control and incident response, native title and First Nations engagement, and support transactions such as M&A and project finance. The role includes both advisory and contentious matters and offers exposure to high‑profile, first‑in‑market projects and cross‑jurisdictional work.

The team provides structured development, mentoring and client exposure to build technical, commercial and business‑development skills within a collaborative national practice.

  • Australian or New Zealand practising certificate.
  • Demonstrated experience in environment, planning, land access/acquisition, native title and/or Indigenous cultural heritage matters.
  • Strong academics, excellent legal drafting and analytical skills, and commercial judgement.
  • Proven ability to manage complex matters under tight deadlines, work both collaboratively and autonomously, and contribute to business development.
  • Curiosity about emerging technologies and a willingness to learn and develop within a market‑leading team.
