Senior Associate, Environmental & Land Use — Washington, D.C.

Washington, D.C. office seeks a Senior Associate to join a national environmental and land use practice. The role focuses on environmental regulatory matters, with significant work involving CERCLA and RCRA compliance and enforcement.

Preferred experience includes hazardous, solid, medical, pharmaceutical, and/or controlled-substance waste issues. The team advises clients on regulatory strategy, enforcement defense, and compliance counseling across a range of industries.

• Juris Doctor and active bar admission (or ability to obtain).
• 5–7 years' post-qualification experience in environmental law, with demonstrated CERCLA and RCRA exposure.
• Experience handling hazardous/solid/medical/pharmaceutical or controlled-substance waste matters preferred.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills; ability to manage client-facing regulatory matters.
