Join a specialist Financial Lines Insurance team defending professional indemnity and related financial disputes. The team handles complex, high-value and sometimes multi-jurisdictional matters for insurers and insured professionals across sectors such as construction, accountancy and financial services.

The role offers a hands-on litigation and coverage practice, working on cases from pre-action through resolution, and regular collaboration with colleagues across the UK. There is scope to manage your own caseload, mentor junior lawyers and support business development for the Edinburgh practice.

Qualified Solicitor in Scotland (or dual-qualified) with minimum 4 years PQE
Strong background in professional indemnity and/or insurance litigation; commercial litigation candidates will be considered
Experience defending claims involving financial services, brokers, accountants or construction professionals desirable
Proven ability to manage complex disputes, excellent drafting and client-facing skills, and a collaborative, proactive approach
