Established Spanish firm seeks a senior associate to join its Barcelona IP team. The role offers hands-on work across contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters and opportunity to develop within a growing international practice.

The successful candidate will handle extrajudicial and judicial proceedings, manage trademark and design portfolios, and work with national, EU and international IP offices. Immediate start in the Barcelona office.

Degree in Law and membership of the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB)
About 7 years' post-qualification experience in a law firm IP department
Proven experience in civil, criminal and administrative IP proceedings (trademarks, designs, copyright, unfair competition, trade secrets); familiarity with patents an advantage
Experience with IP prosecution and procedures (suspensions, oppositions, appeals, nullity/revocation) before national, EU and international authorities
Experience managing and coordinating trademark and design portfolios
Very high level of English
