Senior‑level pensions lawyer sought to join a market‑leading pensions team in Edinburgh, supporting trustees and employers on a broad range of defined benefit and defined contribution matters. The role offers substantive advisory work across scheme design, governance, and buy‑in/buy‑out and longevity product matters, with exposure to litigation when required.

You will join a collaborative, specialist pensions group and contribute to high‑quality client work while continuing to develop technical and commercial skills. The team supports a mix of trustee and employer clients and works on complex, high‑value pension arrangements.

Solicitor with 7+ years PQE in pensions law
Proven experience advising on defined benefit and defined contribution schemes
Experience with buy‑in/buy‑out, longevity products or group pensions desirable
Experience of contentious pensions work or ability to work with litigation issues
Strong academic background, excellent communication and attention to detail
Commercial mindset with commitment to client relationship management and business development
