Private Equity M&A Senior Associate – Los Angeles

A leading law firm is seeking a highly qualified senior associate with 6+ years of experience to join its Private Equity Group in Los Angeles. The successful candidate will work on a broad range of complex corporate and transactional matters, collaborating closely with colleagues across practice areas and geographies.

The role involves managing components of transactions independently while also working effectively within teams. The firm fosters a collaborative, collegial, and entrepreneurial atmosphere, offering significant responsibility and direct client contact.

• 6+ years of experience in corporate and transactional law
• Broad experience with mergers & acquisitions, leveraged recapitalizations, growth equity and venture capital transactions, exits, and equity compensation
• Ability to manage transaction components independently and work collaboratively in teams
• Proactive approach with strong business sense and stellar communication skills
• Proven ability to manage internal and external client and counsel relationships
• Outstanding academic credentials and comparable law firm experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Relevant bar admission (or eligibility to obtain promptly) and deal sheet required
