Join a busy Professional & Financial Lines team in Manchester handling a broad range of insurance matters for insurer and insured clients. The role offers intellectually challenging, client-facing work including high-value, complex and occasionally international claims.

You will manage your own caseload, act as a point of contact for clients, supervise junior fee-earners and support senior colleagues on larger matters. Work spans pre-action and litigated matters, coverage advice and insurer protocol-driven reporting.

The team encourages collaboration across practices, participation in business development and continued technical development.

Qualified UK solicitor at Senior Associate / Legal Director level with significant Professional & Financial Lines experience.
Practical experience of professional indemnity and insurance coverage issues, including advising insurers.
Strong client-handling and relationship skills; ability to manage a caseload and supervise junior staff.
Good numeracy and an interest in financial aspects of claims; attention to detail and creative problem-solving.
