Senior Associate — Professional Indemnity (Construction & Financial Lines) — Sydney

Senior Associate role within a national professional & financial disputes team, focused on professional indemnity, construction-related PI and financial-lines insurance defence work. You will work on complex insurance and commercial disputes alongside senior practitioners and with international colleagues.

The position offers significant matter responsibility across all phases of litigation and claims handling, a strong training environment, and regular opportunities for client contact and business development. The team is growing and supports progression to senior levels.

Hybrid working arrangements and collaboration with overseas offices are part of the role.

• Established litigation background in general insurance, preferably with professional indemnity and/or construction PI experience.
• Proven private practice experience handling defence of complex insurance and commercial disputes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, commercial awareness and client-facing confidence.
• Excellent time-management, ability to prioritise competing matters, and capacity to lead and delegate within a team.
